Client: Change Creation Leadership Programme

Culture Radar was asked to develop a bespoke workshop for People Make It Work's 2019 Change Creation leadership cohort of 40+ culture and heritage leaders across the UK.

Working with professional editor and writer Chris Sharratt, and drawing on Culture Radar's publishing and comms experience, we designed a full-day workshop combining information sharing, practical activities and group work.

Workshop content:

  • Introduction and overview to the UK’s press and media
  • Media relations v. public relations
  • Media routes for arts and culture stories
  • What journalists want
  • Press Release basics
  • Getting your story across
  • How the small details can become the big story

Workshop attendees received Culture Radar's Organisational Storytelling Toolkit and Planning Tool
